I’ve been clipping coupons and using coupon apps for a while now. I admit, I slack at it sometimes but I really need to start paying more attention as I am spending way too much money on food for hubby and I. Today I went food shopping and spent $109.29! WHAT! Granted, I purchased a lot of food, used coupons, planned my trip, got many items buy one get one free, used my coupon apps and got about $1.75 back but I KNOW that I could do better! I’m just lazy.
I have to go back to treating couponing and searching for deals a part time job. When I used to do this I saved so much money. There is no reason why I should be spending this kind of money on food A WEEK for 2 people! Nonsense!!!
As of today, I am making a goal of spending $70 a week on groceries. This will include clipping coupons, digital coupons, Ibotta and Fetch Rewards . If you haven’t signed up for these two apps, YOU SHOULD so you can save extra money on things that you may already buy on a weekly basis.
